Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve got questions - We’ve got answers!

Please read these general guidelines:

  • Moving aircraft and spinning propellers - watch out! Those who are aviation savvy please be good neighbors and help us keep an eye out for those who may not know the safety rules. Barriers will be set up to define aircraft movement areas.

  • Aircraft are not permitted to have engines running while on the ramp – all aircraft must be pushed to and from the active taxiway. Assistance can be made available upon request.

  • Stay light on the land. Byrd’s beauty comes from its natural state! Please do not leave garbage, food or other wildlife attracting items such as nut shells or fruit peel on the grounds and be conscious of any potential rutting your vehicle might cause.
